I aborted my boyfriend’s baby and told him I miscarried

I wasn’t ready. He was excited. Talking about names, future, marriage. I was terrified. I knew if I told him I wanted an abortion, he would hate me. So I did it secretly and told him I miscarried. He cried with me. He still brings it up sometimes. Says he still imagines the child. Every time, I feel like a monster. I don’t know if I did the right thing anymore.
