My boss asked me to inflate company prices so he can pocket the difference

I work in procurement. My boss told me to inflate supplier prices by 40% in reports. He pockets the difference. When I refused, he threatened to fire me. I have a family to feed. If I report him, who will believe me? He's friends with the MD. I don't know what to do.
